Templates

All BYQ templates are designed to be fully editable. Open the project, update the content layer by layer, and adjust global styling through Webflow Variables.

Webflow introduced Variables and Variable Modes recently.

New BYQ templates use full variable architecture (Typography, Colors, Spacing, Radiuses).
Older templates were built before Variables existed, so they rely on classic classes instead.

In Webflow → left sidebar → Variables panel.
(Shortcut: press V on your keyboard.)

You’ll find Typography, Colors, Spacing, Radiuses, Icons, Layout scales and more.

Our templates use SVG code inside an Embed for maximum performance and full variable control.

To replace an icon:

1. In Figma → right-click → Copy as SVG,
2. OR use a library (Iconoir, Feather, etc.) → Copy SVG code.
3. Paste inside the Embed.
4. Ensure it uses:
   • stroke="currentColor"
   • optional variable: var(--_❇️-icon---icon-stroke)
     

If needed, ChatGPT can help convert any SVG into the correct format.

1. Go to the page containing the section.
2. Select the section → Cmd+C / Ctrl+C.
3. Navigate to the target page.
4. Select Body → Cmd+V / Ctrl+V.
5. Works seamlessly across all pages — no need to duplicate entire pages unless you want major rewrites.

If the page is currently in a folder (e.g. /home/home-C), first remove it from the folder:
Page Settings → Folder → None.

Then the Set as Homepage button will appear.

Webflow automatically creates backups.

If needed, you can restore any version — including the clean state from the moment you first installed the template.

⚠️ Restoring a backup removes all progress made after that point.

• Update all SEO fields (title tag, meta description, OG image).
• Update brand colors & typography inside Variables.
• Replace placeholder content.
• Mark unused pages as Draft to avoid publishing them.

Yes — you can paste Sections from any BYQ or Wavesdesign template.
You may see duplicated classes, but they can be cleaned quickly if needed.
