The editor at a glance

The editor has a column on the left, your site live in the middle, and a panel for whatever you select. Everything saves as you go, and every change is a version you can go back to.

The five tabs

• Agent: the chat. Describe a change in your own words, like "add a pricing section" or "make it warmer", and the agent edits your site. Start a new chat for a new topic. See Edit by chat.
• Sections: your page as a list. Move, hide, duplicate or remove sections for free, swap one for another, or add one from the library.
• Style: the look of the whole site at once. See Style panel and themes.
• Pages: every page by name. See Pages, menu and 404.
• History: every version of your site, newest first. Restoring one keeps the others, so you can always come back.

Preview, CMS and Code

A switch above the page changes the main view.

• Preview: your site, live.
• CMS: edit posts and items like a spreadsheet. It shows on sites that have a CMS. See CMS.
• Code: the site's files in an editor, with a console below. Saving shows "Saved. The preview updates automatically." When the console shows an error, Fix with agent hands it to the agent.

Select and Browse

The preview has two modes.

• Select: click anything to edit, restyle or ask AI about it. See Click to edit.
• Browse: use the site like a visitor, so links and menus work.

Press V to switch between them.

Keyboard shortcuts

• V: switch Select and Browse.
• Double-click: edit text.
• Backspace: delete the selected element.
• ⌘D: duplicate the selected element.
• ⌘Z and ⌘⇧Z: undo and redo.
• Esc: let go of the selected element.

Help menu

The lifebuoy in the header opens Take the tour, Keyboard shortcuts and Chat with support. Take the tour replays the ten-step walkthrough of the editor any time.

When the workspace sleeps

Your site runs in a workspace that dozes off after a while without changes: after 5 minutes on Free and 15 minutes on Pro and Ultra. Everything you built is saved. Press Wake it up, or click anywhere, and you continue where you stopped.
