Sections

Common questions about pasting, cleaning classes, animations, and mixing collections.
Where do BYQ Sections come from?

BYQ Sections come directly from our premium Webflow templates built by BYQ Studio and Wavesdesign.

Every Section originates from a real, production-ready template.

Source template collections:

  • BYQ Studio → https://webflow.com/templates/designers/byq-studio
  • Wavesdesign → https://webflow.com/templates/designers/wavesdesign
What can I copy a Section to?

Every Section copies into Webflow as native elements and into Figma as editable layers. A portion of the library also offers a Framer copy — it's available for some Sections, not all, so check the Section's page to see if a Framer copy is offered. Every Section also comes with a Copy Prompt for use in AI tools.

What is the Copy Prompt?

Copy Prompt gives you an AI-ready prompt describing the Section — its structure, content, and style — so you can paste it into an AI tool like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, v0, Lovable, or Bolt and rebuild or adapt it in code. It always reflects the original Section, regardless of any theme you've applied or AI edits you've made. Copy Prompt is available on every plan, including Free.

Can I preview a Section in different themes?

Yes. You can browse and preview Sections in different themes before you copy, so you can see how a layout looks restyled. Themes carry through to Webflow and Figma copies. They don't apply to Framer copies or the Copy Prompt, which always reflect the original Section. Browsing and previewing themes is free on every plan.

Can I edit a Section with AI?

Edit with AI lets you adjust a Section with a prompt before you copy it — tweak the layout, swap content, or change styling without touching code. It's a Pro and Ultra feature with a monthly limit that resets. Note that the Copy Prompt always reflects the original Section, not your AI edits.

Can I generate Sections with AI, or use ones made by others?

Alongside the Sections we craft, BYQ Supply has a Generate with AI space — you can generate your own Sections with AI, and explore Sections that other users have generated. It's a growing, community-driven library that sits right next to our own, so there's always more to pull from when you want something beyond the core collection.

Why do Sections create duplicated classes after pasting?

If you paste Sections from the same collection (for example everything from Evermind), you usually won’t get duplicated classes.

Duplicates appear when:

  • you mix Sections from many different template collections,
  • or you paste Sections into an existing project with its own class structure.
Can I mix Sections from multiple collections?

Yes, you can – but with care.

  • Visually they often match, though not always 1:1.
  • Architecturally they use different class systems, which can create clutter.

Best practice:
Choose one main collection for your project. If you borrow Sections from others, treat them as exceptions and clean or rename their classes so everything stays consistent.

Do Sections work with my existing design system?

Partially yes.

Sections use their own classes for typography, spacing, colors, and layout.

If you want them to fully match your system, replace Section classes with your own global utilities (H1/H2/body/button/spacing/etc).

This keeps your design system in control.

Do animations copy correctly?

Yes – because all BYQ Sections use native Webflow Interactions.

Important detail:

  • New GSAP animations from Webflow do not copy between projects.
  • But BYQ Sections never use GSAP animations, exactly so everything copies cleanly.

If something looks off, simply remove and re-apply the interaction trigger.

Why don't fonts or colors change after pasting?

Most commonly: missing fonts.

Every Section uses the exact fonts listed on its page. Upload those fonts to your project and the layout will look correct.

Colors always paste as defined on the classes.

To make them global, swap the Section color classes for your own utility classes or adjust their class styling directly.

Can I use Sections in multiple client projects?

Yes. You can use them in unlimited personal and client projects as long as you don’t resell them or turn them into templates.

What are the best practices for using Sections?
  • Start with a clean project or a light style guide.
  • Use one main collection per website to avoid style bloat.
  • Replace Section classes with your own global utilities if you’re using a custom design system.
  • After finishing a page, clean unused classes.
Why does a Section look broken after pasting?

Most likely reasons:

  • Required fonts were not uploaded yet.
  • Your existing global styles override some basic elements.
  • Interactions didn’t copy correctly and need to be re-applied.

Upload fonts first, then check global element styles.

Which plans include BYQ Sections?
  • Free plan – a starter set of around 50 free Sections.
  • Pro plan – full access to the entire Sections library (2,000+ layouts), unlimited copying.
  • Ultra plan – same full access as Pro, plus template-related features.

Sections never use credits.
