Sections

Common questions about pasting, cleaning classes, animations, and mixing collections.
Where do BYQ Sections come from?

BYQ Sections come directly from our premium Webflow templates built by BYQ Studio and Wavesdesign.

Every Section originates from a real, production-ready template.

Source template collections:

  • BYQ Studio → https://webflow.com/templates/designers/byq-studio
  • Wavesdesign → https://webflow.com/templates/designers/wavesdesign
Why do Sections create duplicated classes after pasting?

If you paste Sections from the same collection (for example everything from Evermind), you usually won’t get duplicated classes.

Duplicates appear when:

  • you mix Sections from many different template collections,
  • or you paste Sections into an existing project with its own class structure.

Using the XSync Chrome extension drastically reduces duplicated classes by intelligently mapping similar classes during pasting.

Can I mix Sections from multiple collections?

Yes, you can – but with care.

  • Visually they often match, though not always 1:1.
  • Architecturally they use different class systems, which can create clutter.

Best practice:
Choose one main collection for your project. If you borrow Sections from others, treat them as exceptions and clean or rename their classes so everything stays consistent.

Do Sections work with my existing design system?

Partially yes.

Sections use their own classes for typography, spacing, colors, and layout.

If you want them to fully match your system, replace Section classes with your own global utilities (H1/H2/body/button/spacing/etc).

This keeps your design system in control.

Do animations copy correctly?

Yes – because all BYQ Sections use native Webflow Interactions.

Important detail:

  • New GSAP animations from Webflow do not copy between projects.
  • But BYQ Sections never use GSAP animations, exactly so everything copies cleanly.

If something looks off, simply remove and re-apply the interaction trigger.

Why don't fonts or colors change after pasting?

Most commonly: missing fonts.

Every Section uses the exact fonts listed on its page. Upload those fonts to your project and the layout will look correct.

Colors always paste as defined on the classes.

To make them global, swap the Section color classes for your own utility classes or adjust their class styling directly.

Can I use Sections in multiple client projects?

Yes. You can use them in unlimited personal and client projects as long as you don’t resell them or turn them into templates.

Should I use the xSync Chrome extension?

Yes, highly recommended.

XSync:

  • significantly reduces class duplication during pasting,
  • keeps your style panel much cleaner.

Install it here: https://xsync.webflow.io/

What are the best practices for using Sections?
  • Start with a clean project or a light style guide.
  • Use one main collection per website to avoid style bloat.
  • Use XSync whenever pasting Sections to reduce duplicates.
  • Replace Section classes with your own global utilities if you’re using a custom design system.
  • After finishing a page, clean unused classes.
Why does a Section look broken after pasting?

Most likely reasons:

  • Required fonts were not uploaded yet.
  • Your existing global styles override some basic elements.
  • Interactions didn’t copy correctly and need to be re-applied.

Upload fonts first, then check global element styles.

Which plans include BYQ Sections?
  • Free plan – access to a smaller starter set of ~30–40 Sections.
  • Pro plan – full access to all 1300+ Sections, unlimited copying.
  • Ultra plan – same full access as Pro, plus template-related features.

Sections never use credits.
