Style panel and themes

Restyle the whole site in one place, with live preview, designed themes and no AI tokens.
Works with
  • BYQ Website Builder

The Style tab changes how your whole site looks at once. It reads Whole site · shows live · no AI tokens at the top, and that is the point: changes appear in the preview as you make them, and nothing is charged to your AI balance.

What you can change
  • Themes: a set of colours and fonts that work together.
  • Colours: each colour the site uses, such as page, ink and accent.
  • Fonts: pick a family for each role, filtered by All, Sans serif, Display, Serif and Mono. You can also set weights.
  • Text sizes: size, weight, letter spacing and line height for each text role, such as headings and body text.
  • Spacing: the width of the page and the space between sections.
  • Corners: how round cards and panels are.
  • Buttons: colour, padding, corners, font, size, weight, case and letter spacing, all shared by every button.

Not every template has every control. A template only lists what it can honour, so a poster-style template may offer text, section spacing and buttons but no card corners.

Themes

Each template comes with four designed themes plus an Inverted theme, which flips light and dark. Themes are made to stay readable: dark text on light panels and light text on dark panels hold strong contrast, and text over photos and video follows the theme too. Choosing a theme changes colours and fonts only. Your text sizes and spacing settings stay.

If you adjust a theme by hand, it appears as Custom (from the theme's name).

Try it, then keep it
  1. Open the Style tab.
  2. Pick a theme, or change any colour, font or size. The preview updates live.
  3. The footer shows how many changes are not saved. Press Apply to keep them, or Reset (the circular arrow) to go back to what is saved. If you close the panel with unsaved changes, it asks whether to Keep editing or Discard them.

After you apply, the footer says Saved. Undo with ⌘Z or History. Each Apply is saved as one restore point in History, so you can step back any time.

Style panel or chat?

Use the Style panel for anything that applies across the site: a new palette, a different heading font, rounder cards. It is instant and free. To restyle a single element, click it instead. Ask the agent when you want a design change that needs judgment, such as switching to a different design system, which takes a full agent turn and uses tokens.

Add, rename, reorder and hide pages, keep your menu in sync, and decide what visitors see at an address that does not exist.
