BYQ AI tokens pay for anything the AI makes for you in BYQ: the AI section builder, Remix with AI, and the AI in the Website Builder. The bigger the job, the more tokens it uses.

Free gets 5 BYQ AI tokens once, when you sign up. They don't refill.
Pro gets 10 per month, 60 per quarter or 180 per year. Ultra gets 35 per month, 120 per quarter or 480 per year. Your allowance arrives each time your plan renews. Lifetime plans get a one-time grant instead: 300 tokens on Pro Lifetime and 1,000 on Ultra Lifetime, and those never expire.

A full site build costs about 25 to 35 BYQ AI tokens on Best and 10 to 20 on Fast. Best is slower and more careful, so it suits big changes. Fast is quicker and uses about half the tokens, which makes it right for quick edits. Free plans use Fast; Pro and Ultra can pick either.
Small edits cost a fraction of a token. You are charged for what the AI actually did, and the builder shows an estimate before you start.
It depends on where they came from. Unused plan tokens expire when your plan renews, so use them before then. Tokens you buy in packs, and the one-time grant on lifetime plans, never expire.
When you build, plan tokens are used first and the ones you bought come after, which keeps your permanent tokens safe for when you need them.

Open the top-up window in the builder when you run low. Tokens you buy never expire. If you top up often, compare plans on pricing.
The builder shows a prompt where you can top up or upgrade. If you run out mid-build, the build stops and everything built so far is saved. After you top up, send continue in the chat and it carries on.

No. When Claude, Cursor or Codex builds your site, it uses your own plan with them, so none of your BYQ AI tokens are spent.
There is a daily limit on how long your AI tool can keep your site open: 3 hours on Free, 12 on Pro and 24 on Ultra. Previews are free on every plan. To take the site live you need Pro or Ultra, or hosting for that site. Setup is in Build with your own AI tool.
Open Settings, then Subscription & Billing. The AI tokens card shows how many BYQ AI tokens you have left, a note when top-ups are included, and the date your next allowance arrives.
